Lots of interest right on the doorstep including the amazing castle and hotel is a stone's throw from the bus stop which gives you access to the whole island. Pub next door is a good place for a relaxed sundowner after a coastal hike or a day out. ”

“We stayed for three nights in February and initial impressions were good, once we'd found a parking space! Downsides of the hotel: Our room was a superior room but the furniture was dated and the hall/stairs area could do with a spruce up too. Parking can be problematic and may require a reasonable walk Soundproofing between rooms is not good In hindsight I'd say our room was expensive considering what we got for the money Positives: Breakfast was good with nicely cooked food and decent portions Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and efficient Everything was very clean Wifi was quick and reliable Fantastic location on Gorey harbour Local restaurants are expensive so the half board option is a wise choice ”
