“We booked last minute randomly to break a journey and i'm glad we choose this Inn. The hotel was full and the bar was absolutely packed as they had 3 large party bookings that evening. Despite this they found room for us to eat and the food was excellent despite the pressure the kitchen must have been under that evening.
The room was clean and well presented and everything worked and it should, all the staff from top management to younger newer members of staff were attentive, professional and friendly making us feel valued and welcomed. This is testimony to their staff training and team building. When considering just how busy they were you can see why it is so popular. A little mix up with our coffee order at breakfast is quickly forgotten about when the staff resolved it quickly and ensured we were looked after.
Overall and great place to stay with a pleasant walk available along the adjacent canal, but it was the staff who really made it special and we would be happy to stay there again.”

“Super stay - high quality furnished room, and quiet late on, despite the vibrant atmosphere at the adjoining pub. Only thing I could perhaps find fault with would be the high tog rating for the duvet (which made for a rather warm night !)”

“The property was really well decorated and clean as it has just recently been upgraded and was beautifully decorated inside.
Unfortunately there has been no sound proofing in the property, so the noise from The upstairs apartment and people leaving the pub was very off putting.
We have stayed at The Dragon on numerous occasions, but this will be our last time booking in here.”

“Check in was very smooth, friendly and professional and the room was everything you can hope for: clean, comfortable and warm. My only comment would be that breakfast should be included for the price”
