The Green Man | Hotel in Woolhope

A one night stay very warm welcome and shown to our room. Excellent evening meal thoroughly enjoyed the roast and the beetroot wellington. The room was nice and a comfortable bed in room 1. We had a, tapping noise all night from the pipe work which unfortunately impacted our nights sleep reported to reception on our departure I hope it's resolved before the next guest. We'd stay again.

The room was clean and comfortable, rather warm in the exceptionally hot weather, though a fan is provided. The staff are are all hard working and friendly, especially Amanda with her cheery welcoming personality at breakfast. Food is good and the bar is well stocked. We enjoyed our stay.

Cracking breakfast. Only real disappointment was 2 beds pushed together was a bit uncomfortable for someone restless like me, please get a topper for them

Great spot for work & will be an even better spot when I return with family. Bedrooms superb & well thought out, dinner choice, service & food were excellent.

Check in was professional and informative. Room amenities very good and exceptionally clean. Restaurant staff very attenuative and a very good menu selection. Breakfast was a blast. Superb service, tasty food and fantastic staff member. very funny and really made a great start to my morning. Having paid for all of the amenities offered within the room rate the one reason why I specifically return to a hotel is the people, they are the difference that makes the difference. how they engage with you and how they treat you is not paid for, it is how they are as a person. Thank you Amanda, my day got off to a great start because of you.

All good except when i arrived and checked in at 7.00pm there was no availability in the restaurant. Had to go elsewhere for food. Never new that you had to pre book even though staying there. Just disappointing after a long day.

A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.

Good size room, large king-size comfy bed, big bathroom with walk-in shower and bath. Clean & warm.

Great location and rooms. The bar area / breakfast area is really special. A great breakfast but could do with the option of being able to pay for better coffee as an option. Will definitely stay again.
