“Arrived early evening looking forward to having a meal after a long drive to find out that there is no food service for the length of my stay. I feel this should have been made clear at the time of booking.
Although not the Half Moons fault, there was no WiFi available due to a damaged phone line caused by road works. As I was on a business trip this was compulsory as the phone signal in the area is next to null.
The room was comfortable and clean, only complaint with the room is the boiler that is situated in the bathroom continuously switching on and off which was noisy.

“The room was very clean and warm comfortable the only problem we had was the shower wasn’t hot but Luke warm it was late when we had are shower so couldn’t mention it and we were there for one night. In the morning when we had breakfast we did mention this issue. The staff member that looked after us for breakfast was lovely made sure we had everything the cooked breakfast was lovely her name was iessie she was amazing would differently come again this is our second visit in a year.. ”

“Is a lovely old village pub with nice local beers - unfortunately they had some sort of problem and so were closed on the (Sunday) night I stayed - I arrived about 5pm - they held the kitchen so I could eat and have a couple of pints.
No other pubs in walking distance, so it was an early night.

“Last night of a 5 day cycle trip round Suffolk of three 70 year old friends. Staff very helpful and accommodated our bikes without any problem. Quite remote so little passing trade and food was only available to residents. Food and service was good, including breakfast. Condition was reasonable and bathroom was fine, although we struggled to get much water out of the showers at a reasonable temperature.”
