I didn't care for this place. The outdoor areas were full of smokers and the smell leaked into the indoor common spaces. The night manager coughed all night long at the desk and all rooms are around the desk area with no insulation so I was kept awake all night from the coughing. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable, my room door barely opened part of the way as it was too low for the carpet, and the bathroom light flickered so badly that I had to choose not to shower since it was so disorienting.
The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. This restored historic hotel was a nice change from traditional chain hotels. We enjoyed our one night stay and would definitely recommend staying at this hotel again.
The building was beautiful. Nice clean rooms. The breakfast was poor. To advertise as an outstanding breakfast was an outright deception. We've stayed in economic lodging with MUCH better breakfasts.
