Summary: Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful view from balcony. Hotel is not handicap-friendly as there is one elevator which is located at one end of the hotel and limited handicapped parking. Expect to walk. Hotel is pet friendly, but does not follow their own policy for guests with pets. Personally witnessed a dog get attacked by another dog whose owner was as much of a bully as the dog was. The dog was consistently allowed off-leash and had attacked twice, the owner threw a swing at someone during a yelling match with the other dog owner, and the cops were called, yet the owner and dog was allowed to stay at the hotel. When the GM was asked about the situation upon checkout I was told that the “issue had been resolved” and I just needed to drop it. I told her that was fine - we would not be back. I know we were not the only ones who witnessed the incident, and we certainly were not the only ones questioning the outcome - several others were talking as well. It’s a shame that the GM’s lack of policy follow-through could ruin a hotel stay, but it did.

Summary: Overall a good two night stay in an ocean front room. The room and balcony are spacious. The location and beach access is excellent. Furnishings and fixtures are older but in pretty good shape. Mattress is ok, could use updating. Upon arrival the bathroom was not cleaned very well; dog hair was in the tub. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a good price on Hotels.com for the weekend after Labor Day. If I paid full price Summer rack rate I would be a little disappointed. I would probably stay again if I got a good deal.

Summary: We had a great time. The location was perfect. Our room had a great view. It was nice to be at the pool with the ocean right there. We did not bring our beach gear but rented it from a local place so we could sit on the beach too. It all worked out well. Would definitely go back.
