“The check-in process was exhausting and alert for a same-day stay we’re not sent out in a timely manner so once I arrived, I had several unsuccessful attempts to check in before having to call customer service so that I could access check-in in my room and it wasn’t until a half hour after I left that I got information about how to check out. The whole contactless hotel is not something I want to do again.”

“This is a fantastic place to stay, and a real bargain. We had great views of the cathedral across the street, and the area was mostly quiet. We felt very safe walking around, and there are great restaurants nearby, like Square Cafe. But I’d also recommend trying dinner at the “Hey Babe” restaurant between 4 and 6, when you get a 15% discount. The food is great, and the menu is very veggie-friendly. We parked our car at Eastside Bond garage for just $20 a day, a few blocks from the hotel, then used Uber most days. The room was so nice, we just lounged at the hotel for one day.”

“I would definitely give this another go, Interesting neighborhood, not particularly close to anything I was exploring but had a nice combo of casual and upscale dining nearby. Parking simple with ParkMobile app but pricey weekdays, Sunday was a bargain. Did not park Saturday until late so don't know if there were deals to be had. First floor restaurant, Hey Babe, seemed popular and had a small but interesting menu. I it just never fit my plans to eat there.”

“The hotel was unique, pretty, and well kept. I enjoyed my stay. I thought the furnishings, though nice, new, and appropriate for the setting, were a bit odd, and that the space was laid out in a strange way, especially with a bathtub placed outside the bathroom. If my husband had been with me, I wouldn’t have enjoyed climbing out of the platform bed right next to the wall; as it was, since I was by myself it was pleasant and comfortable. I was also surprised by a $250 damage allowance required on my card after I made my reservation. I’m not used to that at a hotel. There was a lot of noise/loud music from the bar downstairs, but it didn’t bother me because it stopped right around 10pm. I didn’t know before going that there was no on-site parking, but free street parking was available close by. The “virtual front desk” attendant replied to my texts. In all, the environment was nice, and the experience was ok—felt like using Air BnB versus a hotel.”

“Not enough outlets in the room. Bed was on the floor pretty much. Room was very small. There was a weird smell in the room. I wouldn't trust the public parking out back.”

“Quaint, historical property located minutes away from CMU and Pitt buildings. Well equipped with modern amenities. We will definitely be back!”
