The Mulberry  |  Hotel in Logan

We enjoyed our stay at The Mulberry. Even though the staff is not on the grounds, they will answer a short email very quickly They provide the door codes via text, The room was very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the shower & there is a small fridge in the room. The front lobby has plastic bags to put inside your room ice bucket, a large scoop to get ice from the ice machine, a pop & water vending machine. The front lobby also has coffee cups and a good selection of coffee. It’s located 12 miles outside of Hocking Hills State Park, which is where we went hiking during the day. I would recommend the Mulberry and I would stay here again if I was in the area

Our stay at The Mulberry was just what we hoped for: clean, comfortable, and close access to quaint downtown Logan. A tasty breakfast was just a few blocks away at M&M Family Diner. We were very pleased with Logan and The Mulberry.

Clean, crisp, modern. The rooms are basic, minimal. All Cinder Block walls so the room stays cold….. Shower is huge, bed was comfortable, big and Sami-firm…. But comfortable. The closest is medium sized, it could use a corner chair. The bathroom was nice, has pump Shampoo, Body wash and Conditioner. Plenty of towels, wash clothes and they have a room in the hall that has all the needs such as toilet paper, towels, irons, ironing boards, and other amenities. There is a small refrigerator, a desk and the sink is in the room, not the bathroom. NOW!!!!! VERY IMPORTANT. This is an unstaffed Hotel……. So going with a 3rd party works, but you need to look up the contact information for the staff. They give you a PIN to get into the lobby and a code for your room. Make sure you do that IN ADVANCE!!! How it’s done. When you are a day or 2 out you will receive an email. You confirm your reservation and they will send you the confirmation and the codes needed. OH, the Coffee Station is the best I’ve seen in a hotel. Andrew & Lisa C

Easy in and out.. other than someone working on room upstairs, it was great

The Mulberry was cute. It was a different experience for me to not have any staff on site. But after some juggling of the phone and all the luggage, I figured out how to get in the front door and then my room. The hallway always had a weird smell to it, but the room smelled really nice. The lighting in my room left a lot to be desired. It was very dull and dim and especially at the mirror you could barely see anything. My only other problem was there were many fruit flies constantly flying around. The shower was very nice and spacious. Overall it was an acceptable place to stay.

Nice place, quiet and clean. Room lacked a microwave and freezer/fridge. No staff. All Artificial Intelligence managed by lockboxes and codes via text. Overall was weird getting used to but nice stay.

Great place to stay for short trip to area.

The room and the whole facility were renovated and modernized. The smallish room was very clean and comfortable. We used the refrigerator, and there was a microwave available. The coffee bar was just steps from our room, and we took full advantage. The Mulberry was close to the few restaurants in town, which was convenient after a day of hiking.

It was easy enough to navigate and get inside, and it was clean, but it felt like staying in a dorm room. The advertised photos of inside the room strategically don't show the cinder block walls or, even more dishonestly, they are edited out so it looks like a regular smooth wall. The bare cinder block makes it feel cheap and sterile, even though there are modern touches of decor. There were no tissues (but hey, there was a Bible, maybe I can make that useful as a paper product!) The bed was comfortable, it was quiet everywhere, and we felt safe in the neighborhood.

I booked through a 3rd party so I wasn’t aware that it was unstaffed. We called the number for the hotel and they walked us through the steps to get in. Nice little place to stay!
