The experience was good, at first the hotel doesn't look good from the front office but the views of the ocean from the second floor are amazing, drinking your coffee in front of the window. The only thing is that it doesn't have AC if it gets hot.
We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and had noticeable modern upgrades which made our stay enjoyable. Cons- The beds aren’t the most comfortable, there isn’t an AC (which was not an issue for us, since the window let in fresh air), and if you’re staying on the first floor there will be foot traffic/noise right outside of your window. Pros- affordable, great location, beach front, plenty of parking, we felt safe, clean & staff was friendly.
3 rd time staying here and staff very nice and helpful. However, the bed is way too high off the ground. I needed a step stool to get in bed. My 91yo mother couldn't get in the bed at all, she had to sleep on a very uncomfortable sofa bed. My brother stayed in a different room and had same issue. Our shower also was very old, hard to get hot water, and minimal spray. Coffee maker didn't work but they replaced it right away. Probably won't stay here again, mainly because of the beds.it is close to beach.
