Summary: We were glad someone was able to help us with accessing the property when we arrived. It can be a bit confusing if you don't read and follow all of the steps. The room was clean and comfortable. My friend got the best night sleep she's had during our entire 9 nights here in Iceland.
If you want to stay in the area, this is a nice choice. Be aware, there are stairs and no elevator was available to move luggage.

Summary: The Old Post Office was really nice. Clean rooms, nice shower, great beds, nice linens - and great to have access to the kitchen on the bottom floor. It really helped out. Only problem was the opening of the guesthouse/door to the room. Digital solutions are not allways the best option when you have no internet och low battery - or as in my case not too accquainted with digital solutions.
But in generally very good! Thanks!

Summary: Really charming spot overlooking Kirkjufell mountain, walk to kayaking, shops and restaurants. Cook your own food, full kitchen facilities and tables for families to dine. We loved it!

Summary: little remote place with everything you need. once we figure out access thru the app it worked out great for us. room small but clean, could have used one extra towel.

Summary: The check in went smoothly with the app/website instructions they give, the room was very basic and pretty small but very clean and well maintained! Overall a good place to stay for a night on our road trip, but wouldn't be somewhere I'd stay more than a night or two as the room was very small. We didn't have any face to face interactions with staff but they left lots of notes/instructions around the place for how to get in touch with them if needed, they also left a voucher for the coffee shop in town which was a nice touch!

Summary: This was the first day of our third trip to Iceland. Of course, we booked this place mainly for the view of Kirkjufell, but it turned out to be less impressive than we had expected.
Although there was a kitchen, the cooking area was extremely small, and there was only one sink. At mealtimes, all the guests gathered to prepare their meals, so my family and I ended up having instant cup noodles and snacks in our room for dinner instead.
The room contained nothing more than a bed and a small desk. However, the view was beautiful, the bathrooms were clean, and the water pressure was excellent.

Summary: The check in process was a little bit strange, but we managed to gain access and find our room. At first we thought there was no private bathroom as it was hidden behind a panel that looked like part of the wall. The shared kitchen had all the amenities and worked well. Room was clean and beds were comfy.
