The Old Rectory Reviews
Enjoyed our week staying in this wonderful house. Great space for a large group, The only slight negative is kitchen is on the small side when cooking for 16 adults but I would be very happy to stay again.
A stunning property for a large gathering. It is beautifully maintained, very comfortable, with lots of room for everyone. The kitchen is very well stocked for self catering, with three fridges and one freezer. Loads of plates and pots and pans. The huge garden is delightful and was so pretty in the snow. Lots of thoughtful touches like LED candles, large shower gels and handsoaps. The fluffiest towels ever! Michelle was in contact before, during and after our stay and was really helpful. She was very accommodating on check in and departure times, thank you. House was very warm and cosy, despite freezing temperatures. Lots of nice walks nearby, a good Sunday Roast at the local pub and good coffee and supplies at local farm shop/cafe. Tring nearby has a good supermarket, antique centre and brewery. What's not to love! Nothing. What a find! We all had a wonderful time.
The host was very helpful with sending through recommendations for the area and the house was lovely. Had a very enjoyable stay
