Positive: The Old Stables is in an excellent location, in the country. Although a working farm there was no noise, other than the moo of cows. Looking out from the window it was a joy to see the young calfs jumping around in the field opposite. This might not appeal to all, but because you are in the country we had a visitor, a shrew in the lounge. I took a small towel, threw it over the shrew, then took it outside. It did not detract from the holiday, it added to it.

A lovely old restored cottage and converted barn/stables, it had real cotswold charm. We loved the cows. This is a working farm. Our host was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of room with modern facilities and it was very clean.
The cottage was located was within easy reach of Swindon and lovely cotswold villages and towns. There were plenty of things to see and do.

Lovely character property. Very comfortable throughout with essentials provided which is always appreciated. The owner was very friendly and close by and accessible if needed.

House was easy to find and entry was easy. Plenty of parking on the property. Enough room for 5 people. Rooms were good size and beds was comfortable. Sara was quick to answer questions. House was clean. Wifi was good. Property is on a farm so quiet.
