“Great location and beautiful rooms”

“Really helpful staff. My daughter was vwry sick during our stay and tbe ataff went out of the way to help us. Will definitely be returning.”

“We stayed in a bunk bed room which was quite small but was ok for one night. Bunk beds were very sturdy and very comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and facilities good. Breakfast area was very clean with a coffee machine that could be used anytime. Breakfast was continental with a reasonable selection of items available. Check in was remote. All details had been sent in an email earlier in the day, which I had missed, but Karen was available on the phone to talk us through check in. Good location and plenty of food options nearby.”

“Poor value for money. Our room was tiny and wasn’t very clean, litter under the bed and the light fitting was filthy. Breakfast was poor and they ran out of tea bags (!!!!). Location was good but no parking so overall it was an expensive stay for a tiny room.”

“Stairs to rooms are very steep. Room lacked sufficient storage. Breakfast was just about adequate. Room not cleaned during 5 day stay. Situated right in the centre of Wells.”

“Room was excellent, cannot fault it very clean and comfortable, just felt that the breakfast let it down, it's a shame that you couldn't use the Bakery across the street for all your breakfast items, croissants, pan au chocolate and various other pastries which I believe would lead to customers wanting to return time and time again, for us we would not wish to return purely because of the sub standard produce used. The staff member that we met was so helpful, she deserves a medal for her kindness and attentive attitude.....just up the budget on the breakfast and you will definately see more returning guests. I cannot comment on parking facilities as there were none.”

“There was no communication we were supposed to be greated I phoned the number was told how to get the key and my room number by phone. The room wasn't a supererior one it was clean but the toilet was like in a very small room no hand wash in the dispenser The shower was in another room but very small. The sink in the toilet was high had to stand on tip toe. The toilet seat was broken. The lady said she sent me a email I didn't get one so there was no communication when breakfast was extra so we left with no breakfast at 8.30 nobody around to ask No communication in the room about breakfast so we went and had to pay on our way home. It's a shame really but it is not what was described on the booking. The handle to get in the door was hanging off . It was more like a hostel accommodation In our opinion”
