“The check in was easy and quick. Room large, warm, clean and with ensuite bathroom. Staff were all pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good the following morning and they have a large car park to the side and rear of the property for off road parking. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would return without a moments hesitation. Thank you to the staff. ”

“The hotel is a lovely old property, decorated and furnished in a way which reflects the age and character of the building without being slavishly traditional or old fashioned. We especially liked the local artwork displayed throughout. Our room was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom also very spacious. The sunken bath with shower was a good solution to the low ceiling height but would be quite difficult for some to manage. There are obviously aspects of the fixtures and fittings which could do with a bit of care and attention - eg. one of the discs labelling the hot and cold basin taps was missing and the other was loose and kept falling off. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and perfectly cooked. The large and easily accessible car park is a real bonus. All in all we had a most enjoyable stay at this characterful hotel in the centre of the beautiful village. Very good value for money. ”
