“Dinner in the main dining room was amazing! Food delicious and staff attentive. We stayed in the Stephen’s House and arrived in the dark. It was not well lighted and 184 was up a huge flight of stairs. We had to haul up too many bags! We would have done a sm. 1 night bag If we had known this was a second floor. Beds were very uncomfortable soft and towels with stains. The kitchen area was without a refrigerator turned on and no ice. The front desk attendant was very efficient and ran some ice over! We love Red Lion Inn and found some things a bit off this time.”

“Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Red Lion Inn. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The location was convenient to many nice shops and restaurants, as well as sites like the Norman Rockwell museum and the Divine Mercies chapel and grounds. This hotel is a wonderful blend of historic and modern..and the breakfast is great!”

“We had a window air conditioner that started moaning in the middle of the night - as we were on the 4th floor room was warm! The sink faucet would not stop dripping, the bath tub plug leaked. When we mentioned this to the young staff person at checkout counter she wrote down the issues but offered no consolation. By contrast the welcome reception staff were professional.”

“The Red Lion Inn is charming and historic. Staff were great. Room was fine, though some of the furnishings weren't functional (bureau, kitchen chair). The property was just what I expected,and I enjoyed my stay.”

“I loved our stay, but there is room for improvement, which is why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5. It's a charming, lovely Inn, with an old-world feel - but that old-world feel comes at a bit of a price. I realize they are doing some renovations right now, but here are my thoughts: First, there is a pervasive sewage smell in some of the outdoor spaces (front porch and the courtyard off the mews). It's not all the time, but when it hits, it sometimes hits quite strongly, which is not pleasant when you're eating. Second, for an Inn that has many senior patrons, there are a lot of tripping hazards - rugs, small level changes from one room, or section of a room, to another, and the stairs at the front entrance could have better, more accessible/secure railings. All in all, I would recommend the hotel, unless you're looking for modern facilities or have serious mobility issues.”
