Nearby there are the beautiful 17th-century canals with their stately houses. In the museum quarter, you'll find the famous Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk- and Van Gogh museum as well as the Spiegel-quarter with its many antique shops. All are within walking distance.
SHOPPING
Deli's, supermarkets, restaurants, and bars are just around the corner. A few hundred meters further on will bring you to the most exclusive shopping street in the city. A longer walk or a short tram ride takes you to the city's busy shopping center, with its large department stores, or the many markets, including the Flower market.

The apartments are situated near the famous Leidseplein with its unique bars, grand cafes, restaurants, cinemas, clubs, concert halls, discos, and several theaters. The location provides entertainment for everyone.
LEISURE TIME
The Vondelpark is a stone's throw away for walking, in-line skating, biking. or jogging. There are also several popular terraces to have a drink or lunch near one of the Dutch TV Studios. In summer there is a free open-air theater with concerts, dance programs, and theater. Boat- and bicycle rentals are close by.
