The Reef at Atlantis Reviews
“The Reef is the hotel on the Atlantis property that you should consider if you are traveling with family. The one-bedroom suite is very large with a king-sized bed in one room and a pull-out queen sleeper in the other. They also include a full-sized blow-up mattress that is comfortable. The suite has a kitchenette with pots, pans, dishes, and a Keurig single cup coffee maker that is supplied daily with several k-cups. The beach and pool are easily accessible. The water park is a short walk as are the lagoons. There isn't a bar or restaurant at the Reef. Family friendly dining is on the opposite side of the property at The Coral, Marina Village, and The Royal. There are shuttle buses that run very frequently (every 5 to 10 minutes). We visited in mid-August, and we were told it is one of the slower times of the year - Go Then! The crowds were large but not overly so. We did not do any of the add-on excursions. There was plenty for the kids to do with the pools, beach, water park, arcade, and exhibits. The Atlantis is not cheap! Be prepared to add an additional 10% VAT and 15% gratuity on everything you buy. That said, the trip was well worth the money. Wife and I took the entire family, 3 adult kids and spouses, and 5 grandchildren, ages 10 months to 13 years old. There was something for everyone,”
“The room accommodations, amenities, food, and activities throughout the Atlantis resorts were amazing! We look forward to returning to The Reef at Atlantis next summer.”
“The resort was very nice and clean. The staff super helpful with questions we may have had. The breakfast cart perfect for a small breakfast. Starbucks was also good in the hotel. Only downside is there were 2 power outages while we were there it came back on quick but a little inconvenient when you don’t have AC (middle of the night) and then the second time when we were getting ready to leave so I was worried we’d have to walk down the stairs.”
