Positive: Wow! I did not want to leave this property. It felt like we were in a 5-star hotel. The attention to detail was fantastic. We had bathrobes and slippers in our room, and high quality linens on a very comfortable bed. Danilo is a great host, providing everything we needed during our stay. In fact, he even bought some regional cheese for us to try.
Negative: Danilo lives on the property--in an adjoining room. At first, we felt a little weird about it, but Danilo insisted that our comfort was his priority. And he has STYLE--he paid attention to all the little details to ensure our comfort. We had access to all areas of the apartment, felt very much at home and rarely saw him. The other thing to know is that you have access to the kitchen with all the ingredients to make a great breakfast (or any meal), but you will cook it yourself.

From the moment we arrived at 5:30 AM, he was right there waiting for us and even offered to make us fresh coffee. His attention to detail and communication throughout our stay were flawless.
He went above and beyond by treating us to fresh figs and local medias lunas, helping us with our laundry, and sharing fantastic recommendations for local dining and tour bookings both in town and in surrounding areas. Beyond his incredible hospitality, we loved sitting down to chat about our year-long travels and hearing about his own experiences—it truly felt like catching up with an old friend. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and comfortable. We will deeply miss Danilo and his exceptional warmth. We cannot recommend staying here enough!

Danillo was a great host, providing support and ideas where appropriate and a nice breakfast with some great local produce.
Puerto Varas is a nice quiet town with some great restaurants and bars and is perfect for a visit to Orsorno Volcano, etc
The room and apartment are modern, very clean and comfortable.
