Positive: Location is beautiful, outside areas of hotel lovely, staff really helpful and very pleasant, restaurant good
Negative: It’s worn out, needs a deep deep clean and complete redecoration and very understaffed. Running on minimum and no one can keep that up
Summary: The reasonable price dictates the condition of the hotel.

Positive:
Comfortable bed, awesome shower, excellent evening meal. I didn't have the full English, but the continental breakfast was the best I'd had. The usual things, but also warm boiled eggs, cheese, mortadela ... usually the continental breakfasts in the UK are basic. This wasn't. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Summary: Much better than a chain hotel. Well finished, very comfortable rooms, excellent food!
