“Overall, very nice staff and service. The room itself was just okay. We were there during the heatwave and without air conditioning the indoor temp was brutal. The staff offered fans but the windows didn’t open all the way and there was very little fresh air coming in. Honestly, it was miserable. Not the hotel’s fault of course. They had great staff, excellent location, and good food, but I would recommend getting a different hotel during any kind of heat wave.”

“Excellent central pub accommodation right next to Stroud train station. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated with a great bathroom and excellent shower. Breakfast was outstanding and the bar downstairs had a lovely atmosphere and really good menu.”
