“Excellent hotel a little out of the way but well worth discovering. The rooms were immaculately maintained and the pub it’s attached to serve good food in a welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend.”

“I’ve stayed here many times, and the staff are always friendly. It’s in a lovely, scenic location, and the rooms are generally good. The only downside is the rooms can get very warm.”

“I arrive to find the front door closed. I was then greated by a very helpful pleasant member of staff who advised hotel guest check in was around the back ( i then spotted a sign telling me this). He also advised that food was now being served to guests on Monday evenings despite the restaurant being closed to the public (not sure if thhis has been updated on their website) Very comfy firm mattress, absolutely horrendous pillows (if you can call them pillows !) Room was very warm but a large portable fan was provided. Sadly the fan was too noisy to use during the night and I couldnt have the window open due to road noise from the A10; although this road is quite far away, the noise from it travels easily due to the landscape so if youre a very light sleeper like me this is something to bear in mind Lovely bathroom decor/facilities especially the wonderful power shower, plenty of towels and toilet roll. Very handy fridge (I wasn't sure if the cold drinks in there were free to drink ?) and a lovely big TV and free wifi Hotel is positioned in a quiet area so no general road noise (other than the A10 in the distance). Nice walk along the side of the river is just across the road”

“What a fabulous place to stay! Beautiful location by the river, lovely bar with great garden serving Pizzas on the Friday night from the garden container but a lovely restaurant too (we ate there and it was delicious food). The rooms are lovely and modern & very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and all in all a fantastic and reasonable priced stay. We will definitely return if we are in the area again! 5*”

“The members of staff were all very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our evening meals and drinks! The breakfast was not good value for us. We don't have a full English and the choice outside of that e.g.avocado, bowls of yoghurt with prepared fresh fruits were not available, fresh fruit juice would also have enhanced the breakfast. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. ”
