“Reception staff were amazing, very helpful with recommendations and directions. We were in an Economy room which was very small but big enough for our needs. The en suite was very clean and larger than some we have stayed in. The location was ok but there is a coffee shop next door. It is about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Amsterdam.”

“What we loved was the location and the view of the canal from our bedroom window. What stopped it getting a 5 star rating was a couple of minor maintenance issues and we would have liked was a little more refinement in the room for the relatively high price”

“Amazing location. Stunning Canal views, tiny but cute rooms, hot powerful shower. Only drawback- sound carries so much that I couldn't fall asleep one of the nights cause someone in some room insisted on walking around at midnight..room had ear buds handy but those things never work well for me. Would go back despite this drawback because the view and location made up for it.”

“The room was cold and could not be increased. We have filtered the search with Breakfast included but it was not. Breakfast is available so it’s misleading. It also says parking in the area for 35€ but that parking is outside of Amsterdam and we need to take a train into town. Also misleading. Otherwise it was okay, clean and pretty quiet. ”

“staff was friendly enough but we were put on 5th floor with a winding narrow stairs! We are near 80 and my husband has balance issues and uses a cane. We used Hotel.com for booking that shows no stairs for my husband. Apparently we couldnot be moved because of Holel.com. This is second time and more serious with Holel.com.Plus my cousin booked not using Hotel.com got a better room, no stairs and better price. I will not use Hotel.com again and risk my husband's safety! ”
