Summary: We’ve stayed before but the standard of all aspects of this pub is in no danger of flagging. The management, their staff and the rooms deliver on all fronts. We will definitely return

Summary: A fabulous stay at the Walnut Tree Inn. Nothing was too much, they even decorated our family room with birthday balloons and banners for my daughters tenth birthday. We arrived at 7pm and a table was already reserved for us for our dinner and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Ian was a fantastic member of staff, friendly and chatty and really engaged with the kids.
Breakfast was delicious and our room was perfect!
Looking forward to returning soon!

Summary: Great place to break our journey from Cornwall. Lovely room with a super comfy bed and generous bathroom. We ate dinner there and menu offered a variety of options and food was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and super efficient. Monday night was quiz night so it was very busy and they were working their socks off. Breakfast options were good and the full English was excellent.

Summary: Great place, room was lovely and clean and comfortable, food was amazing - so much choice, highly recommend eating here whilst staying.
The only draw back for us, was that every time the room next to us ran the tap/shower we could hear it in our room and on this occasion our neighbours decided to get up at 6am on a Sunday morning which was a shame. But apart from that it was lovely and would stay again

Summary: A great find in a lovely area. The room was all set up for three people inc three waters, three cups and three towels instead of the usual two of everything!
Delicious breakfast the next morning and kids loved being able to order whatever they liked.
Highly recommended.
