The property manager was very friendly and explained the property very well. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.
This is an Airbnb type residential home that has been subdivided into hotel rooms. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom looks like it was just remodeled, tiled and shower. Very plain room. No closet - a rack to hang clothes on a desk with chair, a futon and a small refrigerator. There is no TV but Wi-Fi is included in the cost of the room. Overall a cost-effective if rather plain place to stay while in Groton or New London.
Our stay at The Williams Center was fantastic! The property manager, William, was kind enough to pick us up at the ferry and later drop us at the restaurant we had reserved. The room was clean and had a sofa, as well as a mini refrigerator, a rack to hang clothing and a coffee pot. It had quiet A/C and a small adjoining bathroom with shower. We also had the option of using a kitchen with a full size refrigerator and sink just down the hall. I would highly recommend this property if you’re staying in the New London area. We will definitely be returning.
