“As ever the room, amenities, bar, food and service were very good. Do think my car has become somewhat of an attraction to the local pigeons who feel the need to make a mess almost daily but not sure the hotel can be held responsible for that! Will be back soon!”

“I arrived after the pub was shut, but the check in instructions I received were top notch and getting into my room was really straight forward.
The room was immaculate, everything was spotless and smelt lovely. A really decent sized room and great amenities. The DIY breakfast in the room was inspired, and very generous.
The bed was super comfy, lovely pillows and plenty of them, the location was fabulously quiet and I slept really well.
The only issue I had was that there was no hot water in the shower but I got creative and made do with the hot tap and a jug! The towels were huge, fluffy and wonderfully warm from the heated towel rail so it wasn’t so bad.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.”

“10 out of 10 for everything. Spacious family room, clean, well lit, comfy beds, great pillows. Bathroom small but excellent - good hot shower, clean mastic round shower tray, clean grouting. Great breakfast and evening meal. Really there is nothing to fault - Really would like another reason to go and stay.”

“Stayed for just one night whilst visiting friends nearby. Clean comfortable room with coffee and DIY breakfast facilities. Excellent full English breakfast (you need to book in advance). Our shower didn’t work however, looks like the water was off. We were in a rush so just used the sink and didn’t try to get someone to look at the shower. I am sure they would have sorted it.”
