Summary: We stayed for just one night. The room had a pleasant yesteryear charm and a lovely view of the village church and Hall grounds. Breakfast served in the dining room was cooked to order and served with the charming wit of our host.
We will return to experience more of this wonderful home.

Summary: One of the most unique places we've ever stayed. The Hall is on 2000 acres of estate with wonderful walking trails. Your host is Lady Henniker-Major, who greets you and provides a wonderful breakfast experience. There have been halls on this site since medieval times (the current one was built in 1956) so there is a real sense of history here. Our room was comfortable and quiet. It's not over-the-top luxurious (forget Downton Abbey) but it's quite cosy and welcoming.
