First of all, the check-in process was a hassle, and it took an hour to find the gate, room access, and room key. No one was there to help us, and no one at the property was answering the phone! Even they did not return the phone call. Second, the AC was not cooling the room at all; it was working, but it was not providing cool air. Ac was placed on top of the bed exactly blowing air to your body!!! Overall, great location, but I do not recommend this place.

We have been really happy of our stay in the « Dolce far niente » suite. The location of the place is fantastic, on the main street for shopping, closed to buses, restaurants, cafe… The room was very clean and big and comfortable. It was a bit challenging at the beginning to do the on line check in by ourself, then it was really nice. The team is very reactive to answer our questions. They gave us excellent advises about tours and places to go and they have been very nice and professionals. I will definitely recommande this place for the location, the clean, large and comfortable rooms with a closet for all people and an iron and a boiler, the kindness of the people working there and the beautiful open area with the big cough and table. Wish you a nice stay as well.

The location is great and the room itself was nice and even charming, but I wouldn’t stay here again: - The check-in website takes a long time to fill out b/c country fields don’t populate correctly. We had to try about 5 times for each, and there are many (Country where passport issued, country of residence, etc. for each person). - The web link to get in front door for the first time didn’t work and told us the function wasn’t available. The alternate method (code to lock box) also didn’t work. The company did respond and we got in, but it took a while. - The wifi in the room was terrible to the point of being almost entirely unusable. - The bathroom has a tub, but there is no shower curtain or barrier and you have to hold the shower head (attempting not to spray everywhere). - Biggest issue: There are people onsite who are clearly staff, but when you walk through the common areas they don’t say hello and studiously avoid eye contact. It’s very strange and uncomfortable and makes you feel like you’re invading their space. I understand it’s not a hotel, but some basic courtesy would be nice. - I could do without the repeated reminders that if you leave the door propped open, check out late, etc. you will be charged $200. It’s fine to post policies, but it’s a bit of overkill, especially combined with the unwelcoming staff. All in all, it was a very strange experience.

The property has no front desk, but staff replied quickly to text messages and were very helpful and friendly. There is no lift, so getting to the property requires one to climb many 50 stairs, which is a concern if one has heavy luggage, one is tired or one has even the slightest mobility issue. If it is all of the aforesaid, it is a real challenge getting in and out of the property. The room was nice and spacious, but two of the beds were in a loft which required even more climbing up a spiral staircase. If you are young and fit, this is a very nice place to stay, but if mobility can be a concern, this property may pose a challenge.

Great location of property. Large room. Full sized kitchen, huge bathroom with bathtub, decent sized foyer/entry and large bedroom.
