TIMANFAYA House  |  Villa in Tahiche

- Warm welcome and owner responds immediately to messages - Best location on the island: many attractions reachable in 15 minutes, the furthest ones reachable in 35 minutes. - Very quiet area where we spent a relaxing holiday (if you want a large supermarket nearby and evening entertainment there is none but you will find it 15 minutes away). Great bakery-patisserie 5 minutes walk away) - Crystal clear swimming pool which can be covered and closed completely if you prefer. - Large open and covered terraces, it was a pleasure to eat outside. - Very comfortable beds, we slept like babies! - Be careful if you come with young children: a few steps inside and outside, the beds are high (but the owner immediately provided a travel cot for the baby) and there are cacti with long sharp thorns sometimes near the tiled path that goes around the villa. The pool can be closed so that a young child cannot open it. - The only negative I could fine is the planes taking off from the airport, but we heard less than 20 per day in high season even staying all day at the villa, so we weren't bothered by that.

Our family really enjoyed the stay! A beautiful villa in a quiet area in the middle of Lanzarote. An ideal base for tours on the island. Fully equipped and spacious. Yaiza and Esperanza were very friendly, perfect hosts! Thank you!

Lovely clean property, excellent communication and the heated pool is brilliant - so much better than previous properties we've had with non-heated pools. Very handy to Teguise (which we love) for restuarants etc. Highly recommended

Would I book this place again? Certainly yes! The house has a heated pool and was great for our kids (10, 12). With a car you can reach all places of the island within just a little more than 30 mins. Beaches are 12 minutes away (for kids: Costa Teguise, Playa de las Cucharas is easy to reach and free parking opposite of the H10 hotel). The landlord is your neighbour here, so if you need help it is quickly available. The house has no aircon, but it is built in a way that it always stays cool. If you come in winter and spring, you should maybe even bring a warm jacket. (Actually we were all fine, but my wife’s mother said it was too cold. Surprisingly this was the only thing she complained about. And this actually means the house is great.)

We were delighted with our holiday villa which was a really great size for a family with plenty of space. The children loved the pool and the ping pong table whilst the adults enjoyed relaxing in the February sunshine. The property is well placed for seeing the island. It was also spotless and very calm. Perfect!
