Tintern Old Rectory Reviews
Summary: A quaint lodgings in scenic location, the host was a little disorganised but generally helpful. Breakfast was not the best we have had but overall the stay was pleasant enough and very near to Tintern which is well supplied with restaurants and pubs as well as the spectacular abbey.

Summary: Beautiful building perfectly positioned for Tintern. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were fantastic, probably the best I had on the road trip. It's hard to get a better location for exploring the sights.

Summary: Nice place but very hard to find and poor signage. Would be helpful to have a plugin near a mirror to use a curling iron

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was warm and welcoming and there were lots of nice touches in terms of decor and service. We stayed with our two dogs in a room with access to the garden, which has superb views of the river wye. The breakfast was of a very high standard with fresh, homemade bread and a wide selection of homemade jams. The Glamorgan homemade sausage is particularly recommended. We’d definitely recommend this clean and well positioned B&B.

Summary: The room was very comfortable and clean. The view was just as wonderful as the care that was placed into the breakfast preparation. Personal touches made the stay very enjoyable and cozy. Ian and Anika are very caring hosts with good hearts. They have great knowledge of the area and are very willing to give direction and pointers on where to visit. The smiles were also complimentary.
