Tivoli Carvoeiro Reviews
“Carviero is a delight and the ocean/cave front location cannot be beat! That being said- we were disappointed in our overall stay given the price and wouldn't consider this a 5 star hotel. The hotel itself is outdated- umbrellas broken, pool/pool deck worn, rooms small with limited technology. The food was quite poor and everything had an extra cost to it. Overall, would consider a drink in the Sky Lounge but would not stay here again,”
“We took a girls trip here for four days. The spa was amazing, the pool had ample space and chairs for everyone. It was great to be able to see the ocean and hear the waves (many hotels along the coastline sit further back eliminating the sights and sounds). Location along the hiking trail was perfect and access to town (easily walkable) was convenient. Now for what wasn’t perfect - the a/c never dropped below 22 during our stay - maintenance came everyday and said it was working fine (after several days of our comments on this topic the hotel was very apologetic for our stresses) . Lighting in the bathroom was very dim, service at the restaurants was lacking (but the actual food was delicious - we had sushi twice and room service - the breakfast buffet was also lovely).”
“This was an amazing resort… Rooms were clean whelm maintained, as well as the rest of the property. Food options at the resort were not five star but very very good. Drinks were on the pricey side, however, you expect that while traveling abroad. Would have been nice to know there was construction going on that limited some of the access around the resort… But it did not affect our stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vacation in Portugal”
