“Lovely retreat, be aware it is miles down a dusty track which can be difficult to find at first. Facilities are lovely and was not crowded when we went in July. ”

“really a retreat...super relaxing, each room has a little outdoor patio, and the rest of the grounds are amazing... plus great pool and spa, and ownership & staff was the best I've had in Portugal for less than 5* money. But yes really out of the way and nothing around for several kms... but that's the point I think for Tons de Terra, seclusion and the stars :) Re rooms, the showers are great but get water all over the place after. Fantastic & much needed AC! ”
