“Staff and lodging is good, ac works. The pool was not filled upon our arrival. Don’t buy anything from the vendors on the beach they will overcharge you by insane amounts. Walk down to the other vendors and shops for better deals. ”

“The facility is along the shore of Lake Malawi - this is the best part of the facility. Along the shore of the lake, there are a series of accommodation, but I think the beach in front of this facility is relatively cleaner than that of eastern part of the village. However, the room was old (hot shower was not available throughout my stay) and its rate is over-priced. Hotel staff are very kind and helpful. So generally I am satisfied with the stay.”

The food was fantastic and the amenities were very nice. Clean pool, great bar and the staff was splendid. Definitely recommend this quiet getaway! Stay and have dinner after a day or snorkeling or feeding the eagles! Kudos! ”

“Cape Maclear is the paradise beach of Malawi. So beautiful. Annie's Lodge is a great place to stay if you want some local luxury. Big rooms, big beds, right on the beach, green lawns, good food....everything you need. I love staying there. ”
