“The property is obviously old. But the room was well kept, clean ans everything worked. TV was small but we never turned it on.
Breakfast was through the shop, which I never knew was there. But cooked to order, fast and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful
Stairs were creeky but its obviously an old hotel, door was locked when we got back but I was happy with that.
Would stay again”

“A very idiosyncratic hotel - you'll either love it or hate it! We had a suite, which was very grand and spacious, but was showing its age. The evening meal was outstanding - David the Chef / part owner is excellent. Few others eating there, though, so a bit lacking atmosphere. ”

“My stay was very pleasurable, nice clean room and bathroom. A large comfortable bed, and a good nights uninterrupted sleep.
Great service and large portioned breakfast.
I would certainly recommend a visit.”
