“Fantastic, friendly host's. All of the staff were amazing and it was such a chilled, relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel was characterful, steeped in history, yet fresh and very clean.
The breakfast choices were varied and made with the best locally sourced ingredients which were cooked to an outstanding level.
The only down side was that we were only staying one night😉, but we will definitely be back later in the year to experience some of the forest walks.

“Somewhere between a bed-and-breakfast and a small luxury hotel, the staff go above and beyond to make your stay very comfortable. The gem of this location is the restaurant which is perfect for a couple, but not suitable for kids. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. ”

“We had the most amazing stays. The inn keepers are super friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Our first night we decided to dine in their restaurant. The food selection and quality was as good as any fine dining restaurant. We ended up eating there all four of our nights. The breakfast in the morning also offered many choices and was delicious. We did not want to leave. It is truly the nicest B & B we have ever stayed in. ”
