Urania House Reviews
Reviewer Type: Couple
Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property was just like the pictures. Spacious and clean with a full kitchen. We didn’t utilize the dock enough, but the sunset view is amazing.
However, all of this pales in comparison to the wonderful hosts, Urania and Al. They were there to greet us when we arrived. They live on the lower floor of the house and were quick to answer any questions we had. They gave local recommendations, ordered us a taxi, and were genuinely friendly. The house deserves an extra 5 stars just for them!
Negative: Nothing
Summary: Beautiful views in well equipped house with fantastic hosts.

Positive: Urania and Al were fantastic and friendly hosts. They were very accessible (as they live on the first level of the house) to address any potential concerns. Our upper floor accommodations afforded us a great view of the Cay.
Negative: There was a mild odor from nearby drainage cunetas in small locations on the property. Depending on wind direction, the odor may have been more noticeable on different days in a different area.

Positive: The atmosphere right on the water, the location to view so many places via water taxi from our dock, the lovely plants surrounding the house and deck, the total friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts, the size and comfort of the upstairs area for our family of 4 adults.
Summary: A perfect vacation stay and location for our family of 4 adults to explore some of Panama's islands.

Positive:
from the moment we were met by Urania and Al, we felt like we were at home. The house is immaculate and everything we needed was supplied, right down to the beach towels. The views are breathtaking. There were kayaks that we could slip right off the back deck. I have a bad back and the beds were comfortable, I woke up fresh every morning. Everything was spotless clean and the hosts were very responsive and available for any additional request we had. the kitchen was spacious and the 6 burner stove, large refrigerator and dinning area made it easy for us to prepare meals for the family. We will definitely be visiting Urania and Al again.
Negative:
Nothing comes to mind
Summary: I would highly recommend this place.

Positive:
Walking into Urania House was like going to your parents’ or grandparents’ home. It was very homey and comfortable, and was well stocked with everything you might need. I think there must have been over a dozen wine glasses alone! There were towels, hangers, full size soap and liquid hand soap, toilet paper, a full kitchen of dishes, bowls, and platters, dish soap, use of the washer and dryer, etc. The dock area is beautiful. We didn’t get to use the kayaks because of the weather and our schedule, but I sure wanted to!
Urania and Al were wonderful hosts. I can’t say enough good things about them. They were always available to us with a smile.
Negative:
Nothing!
Summary: We loved it! A great space to stay for a week or longer with family or friends.you won’t be disappointed.

I loved every thing about this place. The host are amazing, house was spotless, very clean, the beds very comfortable, and there is AC in all the rooms and living room, plus the view is great.
The sun sets on the deck are breathtaking. It was great to go around the bay in the house kayaks.

Positive:
A very nice kitchen and a big dining room table for all of us to sit at. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms with hot showers. In a quiet area and on the water.
Negative:
Not easy to find. The name was not familiar to neighbors. The one A/C unit in the kitchen-dining-living area is not enough to keep that area cool. A/C in the bedrooms worked wonderfully.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very nice and live next door which is a very nice thing.
