Urban Nest | Hotel in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

“The internet was down for our entire 3 days stay. The beeping from the main entry could be heard in our room all evening and lead to 3 long sleepless nights. The room was clean even though it is tired. The parking onsite was via the Honk app and is not covered by the price of the accommodation. Other than someone banging on the front door one evening it was quiet. The communication from the Hotels app to us worked well and was informative. Things that could help improve the experience for others would be to provide a TV and coffee machine as well as free parking for guests. ”

“The room was clean and neat and everything you need for a kitchen. But.....they need a better detailed email as to completeing the guest form, we couldn't access the link on the day of arrival. There was no front desk or human contact to answer questions. The theromostat was set so high that it felt like a sauna and you had no control over it. I understand there are rules at every establishment, but these need to be provided on any app this hotel is advertised. And to top it all off, we received an email asking us to provide a 5 star rating but if there was any negativity, we were asked to not put in our review but to address them privately. If we were able to cancel our last night there, we would have driven an hour each way, to stay at a much more satisfying establishment. Would stay at this property ever again. Pay a little bit more and stay at well known hotel.”

“Amazing! Was sooooo clean and so beautiful the bed was comfortable, the place was clean and spacious carpet was nice and clean everything about this place was amazing 10/10! Would deff stay here again. Parking is paid just an FYI but deff worth it! We stayed in a comfort suite with 3 kids! The kids loved it! ”

“The local was strange, part of the complex which our windows faced was abandoned. The lack of on-site staff meant that we had to hunt down a cleaning person as ask to be let in b/c our code didn't work. Although eventuyvia text we were given a new code that worked, it took about an hour from our arrival. The room was not bad, quite spacious. If you don't like red/burgundy carpet don't book here. The extra annoying aspect was having to pay for parking in what was/is an area that definitely had more than adequate parking for free. ”

“Cute little spot, there was fire detected in another room so the alarm beep was going off constantly the entire stay but bed was comfy and clean. Nothing fancy by any means but a good spot to lay your head for sure. Will absolutely keep location in mind for future visits”
