Amazing hosts. Left with a feeling I had stayed with family. Created many good memories and when I think of my time staying with them I will always smile. The hosts were concerned about putting the happiness of their guests first to ensure we had a nice vacation. ❤️❤️

If you're looking for a more personable stay this is the place. The couple who runs it were very personable and engaging. They serve an amazing breakfast and are very knowledgeable about the area. It's a small place so you won't have tons of people running around which is nice also. Highly recommend!

Hosts were very helpful. Small lodge so if you want a place away from hustle and bustle this lodge will work for you.

An amazing clean friendly and even a deep soaking tub just 10 miles from Valdez on the way in. Whether is a glacier/wildlife tour or fishing charter your planning on.They even have freezer space for your catch until you leave at this lovely bed and breakfast. Breakfast was superb in the morning before your adventure in Valdez. This is my first bed and breakfast and I plan to stay there again on my next Valdez adventure. Room was comfortable and hearing the birds sing in the morning is nothing I would have gotten at a musty hotel in Valdez. I’d recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone I know.

Exceptional Hospitality and a Wonderful Stay! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin. We arrived incredibly late and knocked on the door around 11:30 PM, but the owner was incredibly patient and welcoming as he completed our check-in. He immediately asked about our breakfast preferences and timing. Even though we don't eat meat or eggs, he went above and beyond the next morning—even trying to Google "Hindu breakfast" options to accommodate us! While that's hard to find in Valdez, his effort and positive intentions meant the world to us. He provided great alternatives and served an excellent cup of coffee. Our room was on the first floor with a separate bath, and everything was perfectly clean, neat, and comfortable. The highlight of our morning was sitting down with him over coffee; we had a fantastic, lively conversation exchanging stories about our cultures and life experiences. It was such a genuine, warm interaction. Highly recommend this place for its top-notch hospitality!

Breakfast was great, and Fred is a great host.

This place is a gem! I took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez and got in late. The host was amazing at communicating with me and making arrangements for me getting in late. When I got there, he had a warm meal waiting for me (it was delicious!). The place was clean, bed was comfortable, I felt safe as a solo traveler, host had an amazing breakfast as well as a ton of local tips and suggestions. This far exceeded my expectations! The only reason there are not more reviews is because they just opened up! Will come again!
