Victorian Inn & Suites | Hotel in York, Nebraska

“We had a great stay at the Victorian Inn and Suites. We had originally booked at Super 8 but they called us and said they were closing. I quickly booked the Victorian Inn & Suites and was pleasantly surprised at the friendly staff and our room. Very clean and comfortable. They salvaged our weekend from the Super 8 surprise. We will stay there again.”

“Very cool spot we found on our road trip. Most comfortable bed!”

“Basic free breakfast. The only decent thing about the room was the couch. Not a single outlet worked in the room. The room lamps, tv, clock wouldn’t even work because of the power. Not very impressed. I’d rather have pitched my tent.”

“very run down, needs several updates. Beds were hard as a rock”

“I just felt it needed a good cleaning.”

“Advertised as having a pool. Pool was “closed for maintenance”. Looked very useable to us.”

“We checked in and about 45 minutes later someone was trying to get in our room. Had my husband not flipped the upper lock, he would have been able to walk right in. He was very apologetic, he had just checked in, and they assigned him our room. I asked for some kind of compensation for the scare, but was told since I booked online they couldn't do anything. The tub could have used a good cleaning and the smoke detector in our room was missing. I guess you get what you pay for.”

“The staff were friendly, breakfast was well maintained. The pool however was closed for maintenance and would have liked to know that prior to staying. We were traveling with kids and had planned to let them burn off energy before bed.”

“The room was decent, the linens clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom had running warm water but looked old and needs to be deep cleaned due to staining. It had basic amenities like a refrigerator. Overall, you get what you pay for and the rate was pretty cheap.”

“Pool was closed, there are no in-room coffee makers and the "coffee" provided at all times was barely flavored. There was mold at the base of the toilet, and under the rim of the toilet. The message light on the phone would not go off. The staff said "Just unplug the phone." The T.V. remote would not turn off the unit and would not control the volume. There was only luke warm water available in the shower until after 6:30 a.m. which isn't very helpful when you want to shower at 5:30. Only luke warm water in the sink as well. The only plus was that the beds were clean and comfortable. I hope they do better in the future.”
