“To tell you the truth, I've never felt more at peace here. Imagine a home on an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, with a breathtaking view of an ancient town (Lipari) and the stunning sunrise that comes with being high up on a volcanic dome (Monte Gallina). You're sipping your morning coffee (Moka style or you're not doing it right) on the terrace while watching the ships draw into port, while the sky clears and the sea turns from shimmering gold to brilliant blue, inviting you for a swim. You put your swimsuit on, you jump on your scooter and are ready for a dive. The stunning beaches are yours to choose from and there's no way you can go wrong. You know it's the right place to be because everything is truly mozzafiato here. 🥰
There's also a very affectionate neighbor's cat, Priscilla, visiting daily for petting sessions and playtime to make your stay even more serene. Just purrfect!
The home is ideal for laid-back solo travellers, unpretentious friends, but also for a regular family (if you have a kid or two). You will need a car or scooter to get here, but don't fret: car rentals are super affordable and the road leading up to the house is a sight all by itself, with beautiful panoramas of the surrounding valley and hills.
Giovanni is an amazing host, super friendly, open, caring, available at any time and full of amazing recommendations: from car/scooter rentals to restaurants to boat trips around the Aeolian Islands, you cannot go wrong with his list of must-try experiences. In fact, they might enhance your already fantastic stay up to 10 times more than you expected.
Big up to Giovanni, especially since he's also put in a lot of hard work, all by himself, to renovate the house that once belonged to his grandparents and make it available for everyone who's ready and willing to love and appreciate it. It's a place for beautiful memories, both past (his) and present (yours).”
