“Located 20-25 mins walk from train station along the waterfront. Contactless check-in was easy. Room was large for 4 people and the free mini bar was excellent ! Shower was hot and beds so comfy. The bus stops is near hotel. Only thing to beware - there is no elevator and we were on the 3 rd floor.”

“Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and we appreciated that water and snacks were included. Beds and pillows were comfortable, furniture was newer/in good shape, and the towels and toiletries were high quality. An in room AC unit was provided and wifi was good. The bus stop is only a 4 minute walk away so easy to access from the main train station. Breakfast is served at the beautiful sister hotel (Hotel Beau Sejour) only a 5 minute walk away - highly recommend including this in your stay as the food was good and you get a lake view from the patio. Cons: Read the fine print before your reserve - there are lots of steps and no elevator. No front desk and no onsite staff person so it's a self-check in situation and there's no one to help with luggage. Lastly, the artwork on the walls in the rooms is downright disturbing - faces of ghost-like figures and weird sculpted pieces.”

“Short 3 minute walk from nearest bus stop. There is air conditioning but no additional fan. There is no elevator; only stairs. This is a self-serve hotel - you will make your own key(s) at first floor "station." Bathroom is very modern but there is no vent/fan; you must open window to vent the room. There are no bug screens on the windows. There is no folding suitcase rack/stand.”

“The room was great. Be prepared for stairs. Air conditioner was great in warm weather. Location was great.”

“My room was a bit noisy since it faced the street. The laundry service was alright though I did have to take my laundry to the sister hotel down the street. But it was ready for me the next morning. As a nice touch they had umbrellas for guest use which came in handy as I’d forgotten to bring one. Breakfast likewise is at the sister hotel down the street. I enjoyed the minibar snacks and drinks (no alcohol) that were included in the room price. I would stay here again.”

“The room was lovely and clean. A few nice little welcoming touches. Bus stop just outside or walk by the lake to the centre if Lucerne easily. ”

“Place was beautiful, clean, located right near the lake for great views, and only a few minutes walk to Chapel Bridge and all the main shops. I only give it a 4 out of 5 because almost nothing gets a 5. Either way, I would definitely stay here again!”
