Positive: The location and host were lovely! I left something at Villa Sophia and she called me right away. I was as able to set up a time to pick up the items. The host brought us breakfast of homemade treats which were so delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Positive: The accommodation:
The apartment is spacious and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, each with double and single beds, and 2 bathrooms. There is also an additional enclosed sleeping area for kids or more guests. The Villa is perfect for a family stay with kids. The host lives on the upper floor, and communication is perfect.
The surroundings
There is a fully equipped barbeque, parking spaces, and fantastic mountain views. The owner has lovely dogs and a friendly cat. It is a perfect base for exploring the area or a ski trip.
Negative: There was nothing to dislike, but be aware that a car is a must to access the property and do shopping.
Italian breakfasts are based mainly on sweet cakes, which may not suit everyone.
Limited natural light enters the bedrooms.
Summary: Great spot, ideal to relax and explore Abruzzo, close to Sulmona, Pacentro and Majella Park
