“If traveling on 40 highway Kingman Ks is west of Wichita about 30 minutes , we have stayed here before. Great host and just off the highway. Highly recommend staying here. Much better than a hotel.”

“Very quaint B&B with nostalgic rooms and decor. Nice property descriptions with history. Breakfast was by reservation and the chef was friendly and made a wonderful breakfast. Very quiet and pleasant stay!”

“We had the best stay at the Walnut st Inn. Walking distance to everything we needed. The room by was amazing. The staff was second to none. Would absolutely recommend this inn. Oh! And the breakfast was superb!”

“Room was clean. There was was no innkeeper for 3 days, i was literally the only person in that house. No one to discuss payment. Trying to communicate was extremely difficult. Finalky, on Saturday i met the chef and an innkeeper. Very nice. They asked me if i needed anything which was great. Food was delicous. Couple of thoughts. You have an untended leak by vack door feom the ceiling. That was my first impression walking in at 11pm. 2nd, i was in the Benton room at the top. 2 things: 1. Warn people how many stairs they will need to prepare for. I would have packed very differently if i knew. 2. Put up a shower certain. I was constantly drying the floors as neat as i was trying to be with the shower head it still was difficult and i was worried of contributing to aging that area. A simple shower certain would help yhose of us who care to enjoy our bath or showers. Thank you. ”

“This is a quaint bed and breakfast located adjacent to downtown Springfield and MSU. Charming atmosphere with spacious accommodations. The staff consider various needs as they even included ear plugs, which were a life saver as I wasn't aware that there was a game and fireworks shot off as part of it. The television was a bit tricky to figure out. Breakfast was included for an additional $20 fee, which I skipped but looked delicious. Overall a great experience.”

“I loved the old home. our room was spacious and beautiful. The home was set up beautifully as well. We were miserable, there was no getting to sleep, cars revving their engines all night. It is right on a 4 way stop, college kids cruising nonstop. The hotel even provided ear plugs on the night stand, no help. So sad this can't be in a quieter area.”

“In the midst of University of Missouri, Springfield, so many options for shopping, restaurants, and things to see and do. I’ll certainly return.”
