Heron Point House is an owner imagined home, designed by one of the region's leading architects and built to perfection. Beautifully situated in a wooded lot overlooking the water, it was built for gracious living and entertaining. It is luxurious, yet simple and very inviting. All of the rooms are oversized, including a simply enormous Master bed and ensuite bath. Architectural details such as high ceilings with crown moldings, extra wide staircases and high end finishes and appliances throughout the home are delightful. It features five decks and porches with expansive views of the quiet deepwater creek a stone's throw from Chesapeake Bay. Bring your own boat, fish from the peer, have cocktails on the Margarita porch with friends while watching spectacular sunsets. The Naval Academy, Annapolis Harbour, Ego Alley, the State House and the famous hospitality of Historic Downtown Annapolis are just a ten minute drive from the tranquility and natural beauty of Heron Point House.
The front door opens to a lovely foyer leading to a large Great Room with a flat screen TV, plenty of seating and a wall of French Doors that open onto a 76 foot long deck along the rear of the house. The adjacent gourmet kitchen has an oversized granite center island that seats five as well as a table for four. The water view from these rooms is spectacular and expansive.
The rear deck is furnished with a teak dining table seating ten, Adirondack chairs, three large umbrellas. Outdoor speakers and a gas grill. A covered patio with a second dining table with seating for six is adjacent to the deck. A short stroll towards the water takes you to the “Margarita Porch,” a perfect place to relax and enjoy a gentle breeze while enjoying your favorite beverage.
Another stroll through a “garden in the woods” takes you past a romantic fire pit to a private pier with water access and dockage facilities for two guest boats up to 45 feet and a runabout or fishing boat (see “Additional Amenities” below). There are paddle boards and kayaks for guests to use between May 1st and October 31st and an assortment of life vests are provided.
As we head back indoors, the ground floor also contains a formal dining room with seating for 10 (12 with two available high chairs), a pantry and a half bath with a door opening to the yard for the convenience of those with sandy feet.
An ensuite bedroom with a king bed, a piano, a small business office and access to the covered porch complete the ground level. The bath features a whirlpool bath and a wheelchair accessible luxury shower.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms including an enormous Master Suite with a king bed, a flat screen TV, a whirlpool tub that accommodates two, a luxuriously large shower and water views from the bedroom and bathroom.
The “Green Bedroom” also has a king bed, water views in three directions, and a private balcony and a flatscreen TV. The “Yellow Bedroom” has a queen-sized bed, a forest view and a crib. The Yellow Bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a forest view and a crib.
The Green and Yellow bedrooms shares a large bath, which has both a spa tub and a shower as well as a double vanity. The Master and Yell ow bedrooms share a covered porch.
There is a laundry room on the second floor with large capacity washer and dryer.
The lower level of the home has a completely furnished recreation room with a pool table, wet bar, another flat screen TV with seven-speaker surround sound, gas fireplace, plenty of games and another full bath. An adjacent unfurnished room has space for two queen blow-up air mattresses (see “Additional Amenities” below).

With water views from both the main and 2nd floors, a private pier, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the House on Heron Point comfortably accommodates up to 8 adults in the bedrooms, a baby in a crib and kids on the air mattresses in the basement.
A wide variety ow wildlife visit the property includes a wide variety of birds including eagles, hawks, osprey herons, and colorful yard birds. Deer, fox, racoons and a bold resident groundhog also visit.

Once you get back, unwind on the balcony most units feature, or head down to the pool and fitness center for a change of scenery. Every suite comes with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, and cashless, contactless self check-in via the virtual front desk. A private bathroom, single-room air conditioning, and a full kitchen are featured in every 42–91 m² suite or studio. King beds furnish the 1-bedroom suites, while studios pair a queen with a sofa bed, and select studios add a soaking bathtub. Full toiletries are stocked throughout, and thanks to the in-unit washer and dryer, you’ll be able to travel light.
