“The space in the house is amazing with plenty of room for our family gathering. There is plenty of parking and a kids play area, lots of toys around inside too. Unfortunately there was an issue but Vilma was in constant contact with me, trying to resolve it. We had dinner at symphony 36 which had atmosphere and we enjoyed the food. In a good location.”

“Our stay at wattle tree cottage was perfect. The cottage is very clean and tidy and so well equipped for a larger group. It was winter and the house was easily kept warm. Lots to do and see in the area and host was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We will definitely be staying again.”

“Property is huge and well appointed. Beds were comfy and everything has been thought of. Communication with Vilma was outstanding. This property really was magnificent! My daughter uses a wheelchair, and although she was not with me this time this property is perfect for wheelchair users. Fully accessible bathroom and toilet, wide hallway, entry ramps and the bunk bedroom has ample space to manoeuvre a hoist if you needed to bring one for transfers. Lovely undercover area out the back and beautiful views out the front. We will def be back to enjoy this beautiful property and all that the area has to offer. ❤️😊”

“All our needs were covered. We were very comfortable and therefore we were all able to relax and enjoy the time together. Great playground for the children. Lots of indoor games. Variety of heating to keep us all warm. Accessible with ramps, bathroom modifications and support equipment. Property manager was supportive with information as required. “Amazing weekend away”

“Girls weekend away on a freezing Sept weekend, but the house was so cosy it was great. Several large comfy couches around a great wood heater (wood was even supplied), a table that could seat us all easily, well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery (not one of those places with one set of plates per person and no extras!) and bedrooms that were warm and comfy. Lovely garden views too, and any young kids would be in easily occupied by a great play ground. Not a fancy house, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a group away or easily 3 families. Very clean too which is always appreciated!!!!”

“The house is big, warm, cosy and accommodating for all kinds of people. We were a big group of friends involving three generation (Grandparents, parents and kids). One of the bathroom is big and disable friendly, environmental conscious heaters in every bedroom, plenty of blankets in the house and tons of entertainment for the children. Two big dinner tables put together allowed all of us to enjoy meals together. There are plenty of pots, plates, utensils and two tall fridges allowing space for all the food we brought. The fireplace was such a lovely touch for winter. We were greeted by the beautiful mountain views, our lovely host and beautiful birds on our arrival. Everyone had a good time and our time away was a success. The children loved having so much space to play and feeding the birds on the porch. We also drove to Mt Baw Baw and it was wonderful to come home to this cottage after a day playing in the snow. Thank you to our host Vilma is who is very friendly, understanding and can be easily contacted. Very impressed with your very organised folders with information for visitors in the house. We would very much like to stay at the cottage again. Maybe in the summer to experience a different time. Warburton is a lovely town and I really loved going into town and sitting by the river. The house is like a 5-7 minutes drive from town too which is very convenient. Great place, friendly host, 5 stars.”

“We had a very happy time at Wattletree Cottage. It was wonderful for our needs of accommodating a number of different family groups. The room that was large enough to hold 2 adults and 4 children was a real success. The 2 couples and 2 singles were also well accommodated. We were particularly impressed with the provisions for young children (portacot, high chair, playground equipment, games and toys). The kitchen was also well-appointed and more than adequate for our needs. We are very happy to recommend Wattletree Cottage to anyone wanting to have a get-away for a large family group.
