“The bathroom was so small. Barely any water from either cold or hot faucet. Showerhead was dripping and a hose would have been more effective. Room was dark even with the lights on. Common areas were old, dated and nothing looked that clean. Breakfast was horrible. Nothing to eat. Ran out of eggs, no yogurt, no fruit, no water to make coffee, no cups and most importantly no staff anywhere. Just bagels, waffles, gravy and sausages. Another couple who had come down earlier said there no staff anywhere. We left and went for breakfast. Very disappointing and reviews did not reflect what this place was really like. Felt like for $200. We had grossly overpaid. Save your money and find somewhere else to stay.”

“Our stay was, at best, okay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the shower was inoperable. It took a bit of time for the hot water to arrive but, upon entry into the curtained shower, the water shut off repeatedly and fluctuated in temperature from cold to hot. Of the two of us, one chose not to shower given the erratic function. The toilet did not flush well, causing us to have to flush multiple times to clear it. Finally, the advertised hot breakfast was absent. The main table was well adorned with fine dinner ware and cloth napkins. However, when we arrived early for breakfast, we found there to be bagels and waffles, which you could place in the toaster, along with cold cereal, coffee, yogurt and fruit. However, there was no one around to speak with about breakfast and certainly no hot breakfast. The residence is lovely, and while we found the owner's written memos to be pleasant and helpful, we were disappointed.”

“An older property, but well maintained. Very comfortable. Plenty of snacks available for us. A few little annoyances- The light in the bathroom went out while I was showering. Really should have two bulbs. Disappointed with breakfast, it was cooked at 7 am and stayed in a warming tray until we came down at 9 am. It was pretty dried up. And french toast was advertised on the black board, but the cook said she didn't have bread... so change the sign.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this Victorian B&B. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and cozy and we had a delicious breakfast. It is located on a main road and is easy to find. The inn is nicely appointed. We do enjoy the charm of an old historic dwelling and the antique furnishings. Adrienne is friendly and hospitable.”

“Adrienne was a great host! She went out of her way to make sure we had all of our needs met. Quaint little B&B. Loved the experience but don’t know that I would need to stay there again. Bed was not comfortable (for me) and sheets needed to be changed because the were dirty (and Adrienne was so wonderful about getting us new sheets). Breakfast was average, just normal bagels and eggs type. ”
