Also, check out Crazy Creek soaring glider rides in Middletown. There's plenty to do-or not do-while at Clear Lake. Lake County Historical Courthouse Museum
The museum features many artifacts and displays of the Pomo Indians who lived during the later periods of the Stone Age, as well as other historical exhibits. Open: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wed.-Sat.; noon-4 p.m. Sun. 11 mi.
Clear Lake State Park
Activities include fishing, picnicking, swimming, hiking and camping. The park also features the Indian Nature Trail, a self-guided trail that helps you understand how the local Indians used the native plants of the area to meet their daily needs. 20 mi.
