“Whaleshead Resort is a great place to get away for a few days. The beach area is beautiful and dog friendly. The town of Brookings, Oregon is about 9 minutes south of the resort and offers restaurants, a small theater we attended to see the Mario Bros movie, as well as art galleries and a dispensary. Note that the cabins at Whaleshead are smoke free, but you can smoke outside so long as you aren’t interrupting your neighbors.”

“My family and I have stayed here a few times. In many different cabins on the ocean side and the riverside. It is always a pleasure to be here regardless of the weather. The staff is very friendly everything is always very clean and welcoming :-)”

“We loved the hot tub. The place was good. The couch bed was fine, it is newer. Wish there was a t.vin the bedroom. ”

“The blinds were broken. Furniture worn. Hot tub wasn’t allowed to be at proper hot tub temp. However is was clean and quiet. The description of being a resort isn’t quite accurate. More of a bnb type. Apparently more of a senior “resort”. ”

“This property (I-7) was much larger than the pictures showed. It was very clean. We absolutely loved the patio with gas fireplace! The view was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Only one issue... There is some kind of water filter to the property that stopped up during our stay and we didn't have enough water to shower or properly wash dishes by the second day. The resort worked with us too make it up.”
