Positive: Wildrest overall is a nice place to stay and a great lodge for a base camp to explore the mountains. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable .The location in Waynesville is great and this lodge has a lot of potential.
Negative: Even though the listing on the booking app stated a refrigerator was included in the room, that was not the case. I have to use the common refrigerator downstairs from my room in the public area of the lodge. Also, the TV didn't work. I reported it upon check-in and the on site inn keeper tried to fix it, but wasn't successful. Ultimately, after trying to fix it myself for several hours, including a rest of the factory settings. That apparently fixed the issue and I was only without TV for one night.
Summary: Wildrest Has Great Potential
