Wyndham Independence | Hotel in Independence

Where to start, the pool was closed for whatever reason. When we got to the room there was no do not disturb sign, no coffee, no cups. We had to get them from the front desk. The restaurant was terrible, the air conditioner was broken. The service was terrible. Then we notice when closes the blinds the the sheer curtain on both sides were destroyed. The carpets were gross, the elevators seemed like they were going to break. The side doors didn't lock, so anyone could have walked in. Good Lord start over and make it worth the money that was charged.

Had a horrible stay there

The whole hotel is out dated. Not very clean. And has a bad smell. Staff was ok.

We enjoyed our visit. All good

when i checked in the hallway leading to a corroded elevator door with missing panels was trash everywhere, smelled like marijuana, and the room i checked in had no telephone and a tv that didnt work, no soap for showering and only one towel. From a safety stand point, whenever i had to step outside to smoke, at night i noticed a door on the side of the building, away from the front desk constantly propped open. i will never stay there again.

We got to the hotel right around check in time and had a short wait to get to the front of the line as there was only one person working the entire front desk on their own. We checked in fairly quickly and headed to our room. We checked everything out and realized we had NO toilet paper anywhere, we checked everywhere for it. So we called down to the front desk and it rang and rang and rang and rang. We waited about a half hour and tried calling down again with the same result. So back down to the front desk I went and this time there was quite the line for check in so I waited about a half hour. I told the agent the issue and she handed me a roll of toilet paper, no apology though. I finally made my way back up the elevator which had a dead fish smell to it back to my room. The room was fine, it was clean, the bed was uncomfortable and the sofa provided wasn't much better. The tv was big and they offered a lot of channels which was nice. Overall I give the stay 3 stars, wouldn't stay again, glad it was only for 1 night.

Great Stay Friendly & Fast Service

Very, very bad service got me in trouble with my girl cause they took the soap and did not put it in the right. She thought I was in a hotel room before I even got there and my check was at 4 o’clock in the room. Steel was not clean.

We asked for our room to be cleaned on 7/4 while we were out, it did not happen and we had to call for towels several times, no extra toilet paper in room had to go to the front desk to get some. Housekeeping wasn't available most of the time during our stay. The ice machine wasn't working on the first floor had to go on another floor to get ice.

The outdoor pool was closed! An has been for awhile according to other people. There was no hot water to take a shower.
