The location offers the best of both worlds: it's easy to find and peaceful, but still close to plenty of places to visit. The room was great, the internet was reliable, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. loved our stay!”

“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”

“A really great place to stay, this: not only a lovely setting handy for all sorts of attractions, but an interesting building ,itself, inside and out. Then, there’s the bedroom, en-suite and their attendant facilities — all excellent. But the best part is Mike & Sue, the hosts: very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining! Add to this the great breakfast (both for its many options, and its first-class execution and presentation), and you genuinely couldn’t ask for more. We hope to come again — definitely.”

“We normally use hotels rather than B&Bs, and were mildly apprehensive before arrival, but Sue and Mike are warm and welcoming, yet respectful of privacy when needed. Two-bedroom self-contained flat, well supplied and equipped, clean and comfortable. Even the TV is good, and you can log into your own streaming service. Huge, freshly-cooked breakfast menu included. Location handy for Portmeirion, Snowdonia, and Anglesey, and Mike can advise about other places. Certainly the best stay in our entire trip. ”
